Someone just postedabove this one A sad Day. I reposted to show the name. Remember AliceM was the one with the handicap daughter that could not get approveed. Had the bad sores on her legs. She has a son in Iraq.  This is the story I printed off the internet.  Ellen The Sevier County Sheriff's Department responded early Sunday morning and found the two women--- and a note inside a car at Alice Neff's home in Seymour. Howard Olson, a neighbor to the 42 year old woman says late Saturday night, he heard pounding on his door. He went to answer, it was a once live-in boyfriend of Neff's, asking for a phone to call 9-1-1. Olson says the man had lived with Neff in the past. He believed the couple had a falling out about a week ago. That man opened the front door to the home and found several cats lying dead. He thought a natural gas leak was to blame. But the source of the poison was the garage. "And when the garage door opened, the car was running and he went up there and looked. Alice was in the front seat and Hillary was in the backseat. They were both gone," Olson said. Hours later, the Sheriff's Department found a suicide note and both women dead from carbon monoxide inhalation inside. "I just assume when she decided to do this, she couldn't bear the thought of anyone else taking care of Hillary so she included her, in her suicide," Olson said. He says Neff treated her daughter well. "Just like a little queen. She was her little queen," he said. She refused to send her to a care facility and always seemed more than willing to take on some of the extra tasks associated with having a handicapped child. "You feel so helpless because there is so little you can do." Now, neighbors are left wondering if there was anything anyone could have done to prevent all this from happening.

Yes this is such a tragedy.  You really never know what people are going through on the other ends of their computer monitors.  Its so awful.  I will keep her family in my prayers.

We can never fully comprehend someone else's level of desperation. I am grateful that we have a loving heavenly father who can and does understand the cries of our heart. My heart and prayers go out to her extended family.

That is so incredibly heartbreaking.  There are so many what ifs...I just want to cry thinking about this poor woman and her daughter.

Hello, My name is Priscilla. Alice was my ex-sister-in-law and hilary was my niece.  A friend of  this site was nice to info me  that Alice had alot of great friends on here and I wanted to say to all her friends "THANK YOU for being there for her in her time of need and helping her thru so tough times in her life".  I'm still in shock about all this and still can't stop thinking of the plans we made for a trip up to visit her in Nov. and spending time together in person and not just talking by internet. I spoke to Alice earlier this month and she never mention she was thinking about having the surgery to me all we spoke about was her children and her nieces and nephews down here. I hate to think of her as my ex sister-in-law, but what happen between her and my brother never once made me stop loving her and she will always be apart of my family. I learned alot from her.  She was one of the greatest woman I ever known. I'm not sure the guy or gal i spoke to from this site got those pictures of Alice's children or not. I would like to know if he or she did. I spoke to her 2 remaining children Samantha and Ben today and they are in need of your prayers as they are trying to finalize everything. Samantha also wanted me to inform all her friends that when all is done, she wanted me to post the arrangments in here for her friends.   Thank you again. and "GOD BLESS YOU ALL" Alice was very blessed.

This is such a tragedy. I do remember her and the devoted spirit she had. It's just almost unbelieveable. I ask that GOD wrap His mighty arms around this family and console them.

I'm not fat, I'm just wearing my parent's fat jeans (genes). I plan to pull 'em off and put 'em in the dryer and shrink 'em up soon
